I actually have been doing this before I was this was an extra credit option! I keep a notebook of three things I'm grateful for and I look back on it when I'm feeling down. I write things as simple as ramen noodles or the sun because there are little things you can be thankful for even when you things aren't as great. It's important for me to keep a positive attitude because I truly believe your thoughts create your reality. This week I am thankful for getting a job, having a home and my mom!
